Alchemist Legend 15.7

When the waterways of this country were first explored a seaworthy, efficient and manoeuvrable canoe was developed that could carry everything plus the kitchen sink. Used primarily by fur traders and prospectors (hence the name used by many builders), these canoes became the workhorse of Canadian lakes and rivers. While retaining the characteristics that made these canoes popular amongst back country trippers and day paddlers alike, the Legend 15.7 has been modified from the original Classic Prospector to a smaller volume canoe more suited for long-weekend trips, day paddling or soloing around the lake. The Legend is also a cottage country favorite.

Alchemist Myth

A little more patience and skill are required to master this canoe, but the reward for your efforts is great. The Myth is the embodiment of everything a canoe should be, performing well tandem or solo in white-water, on flat-water and on rivers. Its unique combination of a flared hull for seaworthyness, increased rocker for manoeverability, asymmetrical shape for efficiency and high volume for heavy loads enable you to easily overcome any obstacle on your way to the remotest parts of wilderness. This design implements many years of seasoned canoe crafting experience. Stable yet responsive due to slight rocker, this asymmetrical hull can handle anything you can throw at it. Especially impressive is the Willow's ability to track well in all types of conditions while still providing superb maneuverability. Satisfying the demands of the most skilled and ardent paddler but safe enough for anyone, the Willow is sure to please.

Wenonah Escapade 16'6"

The Escapade has the sleek lines of a performance canoe but with the depth and width of a touring canoe. Designer Dave Kruger says the Escapade is short, but speedy. It delivers plenty of performance yet has reasonable capacity for most paddling situations.

Alchemist Odyssey

This Canoe is designed for the seasoned lake water canoe trippers that appreciate asymmetrical design and efficiency. An asymmetrical shape and differential rocker mean that the canoe can accelerate quickly and maintains course with speed without giving up the ability to change course easily. This modern design has raised the bar for backcountry lake water performance and has a growing cult following.

Wenonah Spirit II 17'

"Balanced" is the best word to describe the Spirit II. It travels distances easily yet turns extremely well. It's capable on rapids, and open water, too. It's big enough for trips. It's also very stable. So, does it obsolete all others? No. If you want an elevated level of a certain attribute, say tracking or capacity, then a specialized design may suit you better. But if you need a canoe that delivers a good level of all types of performance, the Spirit II is ideal.

Evergreen Maple

At 17', the Maple is a high-volume tripping canoe with outstanding efficiency, stability, and an abundance of seaworthiness. The larger brother to Evergreen's Willow, this canoe is clearly performance-oriented. The extra length provides an even smoother entry line, thereby increasing efficiency for fast, safe trips across large open waterways. Initial and secondary stability inspires confidence whether carrying a full load of gear for a week long expedition or on a simple day trip with your children.

Wenonah Escape 17'6"

With this much versatility designed into a single canoe, the Escape may be the perfect canoe for many people looking for a performance canoe. Smaller paddlers, people who prefer a shorter canoe, and paddlers who spend time on smaller rivers and streams will find the Escape fits their needs perfectly.

Wenonah Champlain 18'

A versatile design with enhanced efficiency and seaworthiness. A larger, more stable version of our versatile Spirit II, the Champlain has the efficiency and capacity to haul heavy loads long distances, but is also pleasant to paddle lightly loaded.

Wenonah Adirondack 16'

Meant for day outings and for trips of a night or two, this model only has medium volume, but it paddles very efficiently with a light-to-moderate load. Canoe & Kayak Magazine tested it and said, "This is one smooth-paddling canoe, and it has excellent final stability. It's a bit less initially stable, but that is what gains the efficient paddling and glide."

Wenonah Prospector 16

This may be the closest thing to the original Prospector that you will find anywhere. A classic design with gracefully curved ends, and sweeping gunwales, the Prospector is a beautiful craft with a traditional look. The PAL is a new addition to our line up and it's a great choice for paddlers that want a canoe that does it all well. Nicely suited for flatwater trips or short outings for sightseeing or fishing. The PAL handles rough water well and feels comfortable in windy conditions. Indeed, it’s a pleasure to paddle either tandem or solo. Once you paddle one you’ll know why owners call it my PAL.

Nova Craft Cronje

The Cronje is ideally suited to paddlers who want to challenge big, open water by covering distance with ease. It has fast lines and excellent tracking, making it a joy to use when there's little time to reach a favourite campsite before dark. Cargo capacity isn't compromised for speed and the canoe handles well both with a load and empty. Its lower profile means less wind drag on the water and lower weight on the portage trail. The Cronje is most at home in landscapes with large open lakes like the famed Boundary Waters or Algonquin Park.
